Tiwani Contemporary presents “In Focus: Heloisa Hariadne,” the artist’s first solo exhibition in the UK. The exhibition will be held in the gallery’s London presentation room on Cork Street from May 30 to June 15, 2024.
Hariadne, an emerging artist, has crafted a visual language inspired by botany and philosophy. Her work addresses existential questions about will, self-determination, and the influence of personal and historical memories on her identity. By stepping away from daily life, she finds answers through her art. Her canvas serves as a visual diary.
Drawing from her body, nourishment, and environment, Hariadne’s work is deeply personal. Nature, a key element in her practice, serves as a healer and source of inspiration. Movement, dance, and writing also inform her canvases.
