Reframe Exhibition at the South Bank Centre London
Reframe, supported by Apple and produced with the Southbank Centre London, along with Factory International, STEAMhouse, and Midlands Arts Centre (MAC), expands Apple’s global Racial Equity and Justice Initiative (REJI) into Europe.
In collaboration with the Southbank Centre, Reframe addresses barriers faced by emerging Black creatives in the industry.
Reframe equips aspiring young artists and creatives in the UK with technical tools and resources to develop unique voices and prepare for sustainable careers in music, photography, and filmmaking.
Comprising two key components, Reframe includes:
- The Residency: An intensive, industry-led training and development program designed for up to 80 emerging creatives aged 18 – 30, focusing on enhancing skills in music, photography, and filmmaking.
- Inspire Schools: A project engaging 21 secondary schools to inspire creativity among the next generation of talent, providing transformative creative experiences early in their artistic journeys.
These programs are available at three creative hubs: the Southbank Centre London, Factory International in Manchester, and STEAMhouse and MAC in Birmingham.
Together, Reframe empowers Black creatives to shape the future of art, contributing to a vibrant cultural legacy in the UK.
