3 Female Artists at Corvi-Mora, London
Corvi Mora Art Gallery London, is hosting an exhibition featuring the artwork of Shawanda Corbett, Anika Roach, and Maiko Tsutsumi. From January 20 to March 2, 2024, visitors can explore their captivating creations at Neither, located at 2 Wincott Parade, London SE11 6SR.
Shawanda Corbett’s artwork, inspired by her Mississippi upbringing, includes ceramics and paintings on paper that evoke memories of her childhood. Anika Roach, a talented artist, challenges traditional narratives surrounding Black people through her thought-provoking paintings.
Maiko Tsutsumi, with a background in furniture making and Japanese lacquer work, showcases the beauty of the natural world in her meticulous artworks.
Corvi-Mora’s exhibition offers a unique opportunity to experience the diverse perspectives of these three artists. The gallery, open from Tuesday to Saturday, 11 am to 6 pm, provides a welcoming space for visitors to immerse themselves in the world of contemporary art.
